Before you get started.
Does it delete or change my files?
No. It reads file-system metadata to measure the folder you choose. It does not delete, move or modify your files.
Does it scan my whole Mac?
This version scans one folder you explicitly choose. Whole disks, your whole home folder, network locations and cloud storage locations are outside its scope.
What happens if something cannot be measured?
The app shows skipped items and incomplete or cancelled scans clearly. Unmeasured space is not presented as zero or as an estimate.
Does the app upload my scan results?
No. Scan metadata is processed locally. The app has no scan-result upload, analytics or account requirement. Website hosting and support have their own privacy details.
Which Macs will be supported?
The current local build runs on Apple silicon. The supported macOS range will be confirmed before the public download. Intel support is not part of this initial release plan.
